Refund policy

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Artice operates as an intermediary and advisory platform between collectors and artists. Financial transactions related to the purchase of artworks take place directly between the parties.

1. Nature of the Sale

The artworks presented on Artice are sold directly by artists to collectors.
Artice facilitates contact and provides advisory support.

2. Returns

Given the nature of contemporary artworks, often unique or in limited editions:

  • there is no automatic right of return

  • any returns must be agreed directly between the collector and the artist

3. Refunds

Artice does not directly manage payments related to artworks; therefore:

  • any refunds are handled directly between the artist and the collector

  • Artice is not responsible for refunds, unless explicitly agreed otherwise

4. Reservations

In the case of reserving an artwork:

  • a reservation fee may be required

  • such fee is non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • the reservation guarantees a temporary hold on the artwork

5. Commissioned Works

For artworks created on commission:

  • there is no right of withdrawal or refund, except in cases of serious defects or failure to meet agreed terms

  • specific conditions (timelines, payments, revisions) are defined on a case-by-case basis

6. Damages and Issues

Any damage during shipping or issues with the artwork must be handled:

  • between the collector and the artist

  • or with the courier, if involved

Artice may offer support but is not directly responsible.

7. Role of Artice

Artice undertakes to:

  • select artists and artworks according to curatorial criteria

  • facilitate transparent communication

  • provide support during negotiations

Artice does not guarantee nor directly manage the outcome of transactions.
